"Medieval Narratology" attempts for the first time to systematically bundle andadvance research on the ?otherness' of narrative in the Middle Ages. Of particular interest is how narrative forms areinvariably linked to the meaning of the narrated content. The main topics of interest include genre, narrative patterns, references to contemporary world knowledge, models of time and space,plot linkage, and narrator concepts.
