An Escape for Joanna On her twenty-first birthday, Joanna stages a daring escape. Since her mother's death over three years ago, her father has demanded that she work at home and give up most of her friends. He works on Sundays, so she continues to attend church and renews her relationship with Cullen McClure whom she'd dated in high school and who's now home from college. As the train moves out of the station, she feels someone sitting down beside her, and she fears her father has found her. However, it is Cullen whose dad has sent him to keep her safe until she's settled. Their unplanned experiences start an emotional hide and seek game over the next fifteen months as her whereabouts are kept from her father.
