Escape

A single mother and her daughter are on the run. The daughter narrates the story of their self-described "Moon Unit" escaping from an unknown danger, and facts seep into the naïve perspective on storytelling through the accounts of minor characters along the way, such as hotel clerks and pool attendants. Through this gradual reveal, we learn the mother#146;s true fears, and the cause of this codependence that has sent them traveling around the world and findingnowhere safe to land.
