This new edition is an indispensable aid for helping students improve their skills in Spanish. Designed with upper level students in mind, each chapter begins with a stimulating article or story that can be used as the basis for class conversations or composition themes. A new feature is the use of examples taken from the 'Norma Culta' project that present the natural speech of educated native speakers from eleven Hispanic countries. Although the text has been extensively rewritten, each chapter still includes sections in which problematic words, phases, and grammatical topics are highlighted.
