a historia se ha falsificado para construir narrativas de poder y determinar la mentalidad colectiva. Cada monarca y cada emperador ha mentido, pero también cada presidente y jefe de estado, cada libertador y cada revolucionario. No se puede confiar en la versión de quien tiene el poder, y menos aún en la del que aspira a él.
 
Falsificar la historia ofrece un recorrido por la historia del mundo moderno, del descubrimiento de América a la actualidad, por México y la civilización occidental, para comprender cómo se han construido las versiones históricas que conocemos, y entender así las falsificaciones históricas de la actualidad, que siempre persiguen objetivos políticos y nunca la verdad.

History has been falsified to construct narratives of power and to determine the collective mentality. Every monarch and every emperor have lied, but so have every president and every head of state, every liberator, and every revolutionary. The version of history told by the powerful cannot be trusted. The version of those who aspire to power is even less trustworthy.
 
Falsifying History offers a journey through the history of the modern world, from the discovery of America to the present day, through Mexico and Western civilization, to understand how the historical versions we know have been constructed, and thus understand the historical falsifications of the present day, which always pursue political objectives and never the truth.
