Arrhenius’s gigantic showcase picture book Animals—but focusing only on its farm creatures—this bucolic board book presents stylized animals in a smaller, child-friendly format. Each retro illustration is accompanied by the creature’s name in an eye-catching treatment, making for a book that is sure to delight young ones nearly as much as a trip to a petting zoo.

Ingela P. Arrhenius is an illustrator and graphic designer whose love of retro style, typography, and color is evident in her work. She is the author-illustrator of Animals and other books for children, including Where’s the Ladybug?, Where’s the Giraffe?, and the other books in the Nosy Crow felt lift-the-flap series. Ingela P. Arrhenius lives and works in Sweden.
