Fashion in Film

The vital synergy between dress and the cinema has been in place since the advent of film. Adrienne Munich is Professor of English, Cultural Studies, and Art at Stony Brook University. She has published articles about fashion and adornment in films from Tootsie to Titantic to Place Vendme. She is author of Andromeda's Chains and Queen Victoria's Secrets, co-editor of Selected Poems of Amy Lowell and Amy Lowell: American Modern, and co-editor of the journal Victorian Literature and Culture.
