Fats, Sugars, And Empty Calories

In America today, obesity-the state of being very overweight-is not simply a problem, it's a national crisis. Two out of every three American adults are overweight, and one out of three is officially obese. Excess weight and obesity, however, are no longer simply adult health risks, for our nation's children are threatened like never before. One out of every six people between the ages of six and nineteen is also overweight, with an additional one out of six in danger of becoming overweight. Experts now fear that obesity will soon be even more than a crisis; it will be the American way of life.
