Charley Henderson and Molly Bernhart are two inseparable youngsters growing up on the tranquil Pawquellet Island in Nantucket Sound. Frolicking in the warm ocean waters of summer and exploring the golden-hued forests of autumn, their days are filled with laughter, new discoveries, and a growing love for one another. Through the years, Charley and Molly experience life together-and sometimes apart-as their friendship deepens with every passing moment on the idyllic little island they will always call home. JIM CASSIDY enjoyed his childhood growing up on the Indiana Dunes. He now resides in a Chicago suburb where he is a physician. He is currently working on several more books, including a children horror story. The Ferry to America is his first published book.
