One day 12-year-old Irina gets a shock of a lifetime when her parents, Yury and Vera, announce that their little family will be moving out of the country in three months' time. Thus starts a new chapter in Irina's life where uncertainty and turmoil constantly rule her and her parents' world. Upon starting their journey all sorts of good and bad emotions inevitably flood in causing Irina to retreat back in time with her memories. Experiencing shock, awe, hatred and other unavoidable circumstances while in transit to happiness the family migrates through cultures and time. Finally, in a place least expected they meet their namesake and everything changes. The story continues through Irina's teenage years and into her adulthood with her 2 boys and ends with 2020 pandemic.
