She has an MFA in poetry from Western State Colorado University and lives in New Jersey, with her husband, kids, cat, and poetry books. Julia Patton has illustrated more than a dozen books for children, including PB&J Hooray! She lives in England where she "scribbles away in a little wood shed in the wilds of Northumberland."
