Fruitful Living in Winter

In the winter, there are many things that you plan to do but you just can't. This is the season where our desires meet the issues of timing. All you can do is settle down, pack it in, and rest. You just have to wait. If someone were to ask us how to spell winter, we would say W.A.I.T.Winter is cold, harsh and indifferent. We're all going to have winters. This season has nothing to do with your faith or your commitment. You cannot prevent it or get around it. It's just a reality of life.Winter is a time of purification. Motives are tested and tried. We were forced to encourage the family and encourage ourselves. We had to learn to receive and get past pride. We had to learn the humility of not having it all together all the time.It doesn't matter how you approach this book - (devotional or inspirational). Just know that God has a Word for you and a plan to accomplish the Word that He has given to you. Just remain open to Him.
