Per Gahrton is a Swedish politician and author of over 35 books. He was official 'rapporteur' of the European Parliament for the South Caucasus from 1999-2004 and an MEP from 1995 to 2004. He is a member of the Advisory Council of the Regional Environmental Centre in Tbilisi, Georgia.
