Getting to Know God

In Getting to Know God children learn about God's characteristics by studying the different names used in the Bible. Children learn that God is their provider, their strength, their healer, and their salvation! Each of the 13 lessons in Getting to Know God utilizes Bible lessons that reinforce each characteristic, as well as unique and challenging Bible Memory Activities! More reproductible take-home papers as well as helper cards and more make the character of God real and memorable - both in the classroom and at home!

Sheila Seifert has over 1,000 publications-articles, stories, books, plays, web pages, and more. She is a magazine and creative writing teacher for the university of Colorado at Denver, director of programs for Colorado Writers Fellowship, and the editor of Dedicated Author, and e-zine for Christian writers. She is married and is the mother of three boys.
Beth Naylor is a licensed public school teacher, children's ministry teacher, and a homemaker who also teaches worship dance.
