Gilby the Gecko Explores the Rumbling Doors

Join Gilby the Gecko as he discovers the world behind the rumbling red doors of a fire station. He has no idea what he is seeing but it all seems pretty amazing! To Gilby, everything seems larger than life and that makes total sense when you consider that he is a gecko.

Gilby's natural curiosity and interest in learning will take him on many adventures in the future. Who knows? He may even become an honorary firefighter along the way.

The Gilby the Gecko book series will immerse children and adults into the world of first responders, while learning about fire and life safety.

Angela Garbiso has always had a passion for children's literature and anyone who knows her isn't surprised that she is the co-author of the Gilby the Gecko fire and life safety children's book series.

Residing in Southern California, she loves her dog and her two adult children, especially when they call or text her regularly. Her education in political science, public administration, elementary education, and instructional design has led to a colorful professional career. She likes to think that her education and experience paved the way for her writing career, and her children advise everyone to nod and agree.
