In an age of mere celebrities in Church and Society, "They in Glory Shine" celebrates genuine Christian heroes. Most of them went largely unrecognised for their heroism in their own time. Some of them even met with contempt, and not a few of them suffered ignominious or violent ends. Covering a period of 150 years in Anglican Church history, and including men and women, clerics and lay people, these brief biographies introduce us to outstanding but sometimes overlooked Christians from Scotland, England, Canada, the USA, Africa, and Papua New Guinea.
