Glycome Informatics: Methods and Applications

The four essential molecular building blocks of cells are collectively referred to as glycans. The development of informatics tools for glycobiology and glycomics research has increased in recent years. This book provides an understanding of the glycobiology field, existing glycome informatics methods, and current problems faced by researchers. It presents an overview of available database resources, algorithms, and techniques.
