Going to Commonville

This story is about Bubble, a character named by my daughter, who is not happy about moving to a new place called Commonville. Through his journey, he finds and loves the uniqueness and differences among places, objects, and people he sees in Commonville. He realizes that no matter how different people are or even if they come from different places, they all come together as one big family'”the family of the human race. The story could be used as a tool to initiate discussion on issues related to different cultures and religions, and prejudices arising from not understanding and respecting diversity among people. It could be used to discuss and evaluate children's options and roles in eliminating all sorts of prejudice.The purpose of this story is to ignite a sense of responsibility and a conscientious attitude in children toward the well-being of the human race and to make them champions of peace among the human race.
