Gold and Clay

In this second collection from Robert E. Willis, readers will find poems written decades ago, as well as some recently written. Touching on various thoughts, feelings, and experiences, the poems open the door to the author's heart and mind. He includes fictional works, photography, and song lyrics as some of his other accomplishments. The poems in this book are not arranged topically. The arrangement is designed to induce a gamut of emotion as each is being read. Whether the feeling is pain, love, joy, loss, anger, sadness, wonder, or excitement, the author hopes that each poem moves its reader in some way. It is also hoped that the book is enjoyed in its entirety.

Philly based poet Robert E. Willis started writing poetry in 1988 and has been compiling poems ever since. His most cherished accomplishments are being a father to a beautiful daughter, son to a splendid mom, brother to some marvelous siblings, and uncle to fine nieces and nephews.
