Born and raised in the Bronx, the birthplace of hip-hop, Lenny got his start in the music business as a member of a famed rap label's street promotions team. After snagging a once-in-a-lifetime internship opportunity at then fledgling Roc-A-Fella Records, Lenny began his working relationship with Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. Lenny worked as A&R on several albums with the iconic rapper, and grew to expand his hitmaker status with artists like Ne-Yo, The Roots, Ghostface Killah, The Dream, DJ Khaled, and Jadakiss. As SVP of A&R and Artist Management at Roc Nation, Lenny S. has signed groundbreaking acts like Vic Mensa, Justine Skye, and Rapsody, while managing hip-hop heavyweights like Fabolous, DJ Khaled, Meek Mill, and Tristan Mack Wilds.
