Recently made popular by Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, the GOspel of Thomas sheds new light on the origins of Christianity and portrays Jesus as a wisdom-loving sage. This collection of aphoristic sayings presents the Kingdom of God as a present fact about the world, rather than a future promise or future threat. But these intriguing readings can sometimes leave readers wondering, "What next?"
The Gospel of Thomas: A Guidebook for Spiritual Practice offers readers a way to translate the wisdom of the Gospel of Thomas into daily practice, manifesting in their lives the same consciousness revealed in Jesus of Nazareth. Written for readers of all religious backgrounds, this guidebook covers a range of topics, including:
Becoming a spiritual adult
Religion, Organized and Unorganized
Being a Healing Presence
Daring to Be a City on a Hill
Jesus for Christians and Non-Christians
Making Space for Spirit
And much more....
