The Government of Life Foucault, Biopolitics, and Neoliberalism

Vanessa Lemm is Full Professor in Philosophy at the School of Humanities of the University of New South Wales in Sydney. She is also full professor and recurrent visiting professor at the Institute of Humanities at the Diego Portales University in Santiago de Chile. She is the author of Nietzsche's Animal Philosophy: Culture, Politics and the Animality of the Human Being (Fordham).

Miguel Vatter is Professor of Political Science at the University of New South Wales. He is the author of Between Form and Event: Machiavelli's Theory of Political Freedom (Brill) and is currently completing a book on Leo Strauss and political theology for Cambridge and a book on biopolitics for Fordham.
