Half-Moon Scar

Amy is a thirty-something lesbian who moved to the city with her lover to escape her claustrophobic hometown. But the prospect of reuniting with her high school crush Ginaas well as seeing her old friend Gavineventually brings her back home for a visit. Amy discovers that, like her, both Gina and Gavin have extreme methods of dissociating from the trauma and confusion of their childhoods. As the past creeps into the present, Amy must find a way to reconcile her attraction to Gina and unravel her complicated history with Gavin.

Allison Green teaches writing and women's studies at a community college in Washington State. Half-Moon Scar is her first novel.
