Nicole Müller is Professor of Speech and Hearing Sciences at University College Cork, Ireland. She is the founder and editor of the Journal of Multilingual Communication Disorders and is a co-editor of Clinical Linguistics and Phonetics. 

Martin J. Ball is Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at Bangor University, Wales. He is co-editor Clinical Linguistics and Phonetics and has authored and edited more than 25 books, including Clinical Sociolinguistics.
