Having worked as a chiropractor in a home-office in Coconut Grove practicing Energy Medicine aka Vibrational Medicine since 1981, it was thrilling to see a local Detroit author, Richard Gerber, MD publish his tome "Vibrational Energy Medicine" in 1988. While an excellent scientific resource book, I was looking for relatively simple explanations - suitable for a clever, articulate teenager... Robert Anthony Kreucher realized: If it's going to be... it's up to me! Self-published at Kolossos Printing, Ann Arbor MI, 1998 as Harmonious Healing: A Journey in Vibrational Energy Medicine and Essene Living.

Essenes were the primal holistic healers from ancient times. Realizing the intimate connection between our thinking body, our feeling body, and out acting body, they exemplified following Mother Nature's Ways as the Key to bring Peace at all levels... experiencing HeartMindBodySpirit as One. When we engage Sacred Breath... we find our Way... Home Sweet hOMe!

Ancient ways come from the mountains north and east of Mesopotamia, most likely from Caucasus via Persia. Simple farmers living by Mother Nature's Ways migrated down to the Tigris-Euphrates Valley. Some of these farmers went further west, evidenced by the discovery of scrolls in Qumran at the Dead Sea in 1946 transcribed by Essenes. Their cousins to the south, the Therapeutae of Egypt were the Coptic authors of the Nag Hammadi Library discovered in 1945. Therapeutae and Essenes lived far from the congestion and corruption found in cities, where people tend to live out of balance with Mother Nature, where dis-eases flourish. Traditionally these farmer / healers provide a retreat, a Sanctuary for those seeking balance and harmony. Learning about the Sacred Journey Within, they re-connect with the Creator of All… with Mother Earth, Father Sun… and with each other as Sisters and Brothers, nurturing Communion – Love.

Robert Anthony Kreucher was born 4 November 1941 one block from the Detroit River, and spent much of his childhood exploring Mother Nature - both inland, and navigating the Great Lakes! He served in Detroit as a priest 1967-72. Then following the writings and advice of Arnold Ehret, he experienced the benefits of plant-based foods for 30 days. Energized... he later explored 2 weeks water fasting in the mountains from New Moon until Full Moon. Robert traveled overland around the globe 5 years, spending half of that time in Hawai'i. Learning from kahunas including Mr Ting on Maui... and Mr Stanley Burroughs of Nu'uanu Valley - doing his Master Cleanse on various islands for 7 weeks was a Revelation. Seeing fascinating results with Others who were also exploring Mother Nature's Ways... his Sacred Journey came into focus.

Back to school: Palmer College in Davenport, IA – Robert graduated in 1980 as a Primary Care Physician, a Doctor of Chiropractic specializing in Sacral-Occipital Technique {SOT}. Studying Harmonics with M.L. Rees, DC, learning ancient techniques of Vibrational Energy Medicine, he offered those healing energetic frequencies blending HeartMindBodySpirit as One in private sessions... as well as holistic centers such as Hippocrates Health Institute. Handing out mimeographed notes in the early 80s from his hOMe-office in Coconut Grove, he slowly created "Harmonious Healing" as a reference book – detailing aspects of Vibrational Energy Medicine as found in affirmations, aromatherapy, colors and sounds, crystals and stones… including frequencies of food choices... and unusual aspects of Lifestyle Medicine: Fasting as an Ancient Restorative... and Sacred Sexuality, the ultimate rejuvenating Force. Homeopathy as applied to various forms of "Candida albicans" is considered in Chapter 9. Chapter 10 has 100 topics with answers for FAQs making it worthy of pursuit for doctors of every sort, massage therapists, professionals in the business world, and Inquiring Minds who choose to know Mother Nature's Ways... ultimately, to "Know Thyself"... to be Aware of be-ing Aware... by applying Harmonious Healing: Ancient Wisdom in Modern Times.

Good fortune allowed Robert to spend time in the early 90s with Sir George Trevelyan, Father of the modern Essene movement in England, at his hOMe – The Barn in Hawkesbury, Badminton, Avon. Sir George has been referred to as "the GrandFather of the New Age Movement" which – rather than involving cult, fad and woolly notions – involves a non-sectarian, holistic outlook, scientific and practical, as well as mystical… a compassionate, global-humanitarian, Essene perspective pertinent to Current Events. Showing him the nearly-complete manuscript, Sir George said: "Yours is a brilliant book. It will nourish the imaginations of those who are birthing the new consciousness. From the seeds of the past come the plants of today that are blossoming for the survival of Our Beloved Mother Earth."
