THE HARRISON FRIGATE

A seagoing adventure story that takes place in the U.S. and the Mediterranean. It begins in the year 1800. A small commercial shipbuilder constructs a fighting frigate and becomes entangled with a government bureaucracy.

The privately owned frigate provides protection for cargo boats. The frigate is, in essence, a privateer. This convoluted historic (fiction) novel is laced with enough humor and dangerous enemies to keep you turning pages.
