A Heart Full of Dreams

I was born in the early 50s, the second child of seven, in Madera Ca. We were a poor family and moved around a lot following the fruit, or we picked cotton in Oklahoma and Texas. I didn't start to write until later in my life, however I've always made up stories in my head for my own entertainment and to share with others. My husband encouraged me to write down one of my story, so I tried it and the stories came along so easy. Now I'm having such fun, writing Poems and short stories, and now even a few novels. I live in a small town outside of Salem Oregon and I'm married to a wonderful man; he's a musician and songwriter, an artist as well. We have two grown boys who have given us wonderful grandchildren. I have other hobbies; I raise a garden of flowers and vegetables, I quilt, do oil painting and I love to cook and make new receipts.
