High Voltage

All of his life, Clyde Watts has been the smart, timid, nice guy; he has also been an easy target for bullies. At age fourteen, Clyde is now entering his first year of high school, and he has high hopes that things will change for him. But after losing the girl of his dreams to the high school basketball star, immediately becoming the target of the school gangs, and making it to the very bottom of his school's social system, his dreams are crushed in an instant. After a truck accident, Clyde's life is changed forever when he gains super powers. Now, Clyde must give up on his timid, nice guy ways, and use his new-found abilities to become a stronger, more confident person in order to stop other mutants from bringing the city to its knees. Can he muster the strength to stop the mutants from destroying the city? Or will he crack under the pressure of his own powers?
