In His Hands, I Am Healed

Laura was diagnosed with cancer five times in 4.5 years. With each diagnosis, she knew that her chances of survival decreased and that treatment options would be limited. She prayed and asked God not to allow her to get this point, but God had other plans. She found herself at this place when she was diagnosed for the fifth time. Chemotherapy seemed like the best option, but it would only extend her life by 1-2 years and not cure her disease. It was after her fifth diagnosis that God intervened and healed her without any conventional treatment. It was truly a miracle!Whether she liked it or not, Laura needed God to take center stage in her life during her most challenging circumstance. The purpose of this book is to show others that with God we can live a thriving, vibrant life while facing our most difficult hardships. As she learned, all that is needed is an unwavering faith as small as a mustard seed and believe that God will bring us through the storm. Seems simple, right? Not at all!Laura candidly shares her story of how she continued to live a thriving life amid the raging storm (cancer) that swirled around her. She shares about one critical decision that resulted in a tectonic shift in her attitude and outlook, which dissipated the "cancer tornado" and allowed her to regain control of her life. Additionally, she shares her biggest struggles, how she overcame them, and the spiritual treasures that she acquired that anyone can use to overcome their tornados in life.

Laura is no stranger to letting God take center stage in her life during her most challenging circumstances. Laura turned her life over to Jesus Christ in 1996. During her early years of having a personal relationship with Jesus, God delivered and healed her from many "cancers" of the soul. Little did she know then that these healing experiences would provide the faith foundation for her to be healed of cancer in her body several years later.Laura faced cancer five times in 4.5 years, and God miraculously healed her after the 5th diagnosis by His divine healing power and nothing else. Her story encourages, motivates, and empowers people to live thriving and vibrant lives while facing their most challenging life circumstances.Laura is originally from the Thousand Islands area in upstate New York. She lived in the area until God called her to move to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area in Texas. She moved in 2008 and currently resides in north Ft. Worth, Texas. In addition to working a full-time job, Laura loves outdoor activities, running, Orangetheory workouts, and spending time with family and friends.
