In Historia de Mayta the narrator reconstructs, through the testimony of those who knew him, the story of Alexander Mayta, the protagonist of a trotskistic revolution that in the novel takes place in 1958. In this novel, aside from getting to know a man who was the personification of marginality, who lived in a period of ideological conflicts and political craze, we will get to know a key period of time in the history of Latin America, a shady time, a time of violent vindication.
