Honeybee Magic

Sometimes bees get a bad rap. Some children and even adults are terrified of them. Honeybee Magic was written to help people see how important they are to us. In fact, one-third of the food we eat need pollinators like bees to grow. Comparing bees to fairies help us see bees in a more positive light. I hope that next time you see a bee, you will no longer be afraid but see them as the wonderful creatures they are.

The soft, watercolor illustrations include labels of many flowers and plants that honeybees love. The paintings help readers identify plants they can grow in their own gardens to help feed bees.
