I Have a Choice

Imagine with me that choices are like leaves. Sometimes they're just within reach and sometimes it's tough to tell them apart. As you sit down with a child in your family and read this book, we invite you to talk to them about the kinds of choices they can make. Reading this book to them might remind you of some of the difficult choices you've had to make in your life. The moral of "I Have a Choice" is not that we should make good choices and that we shouldn't make bad choices, but that we have OUR choice that reflects a part of us that we are proud of.

Ben Romano is the Musician in Residence for the Marlene Meyerson JCC of Manhattan. He lives with his wife, Rabbi Bailey Romano and his cat, Motzi Lechem in Brooklyn. His works are inspired by his passion for multi-arts collaboration and creativity in education.
Emma Adams is an illustration artist living in Minnesota. Inspired by whimsy and magical worlds, she fully believes that creating and sharing art inspires happiness and human connection.
