Illustrated Lives of the Great Composers:Stravinsky

This series of biographies presents the great composers against the background of their times. Each draws on personal letters and recollections, engravings, paintings and, when they exist, photographs, to present a complete picture of the composer's life.

Neil Wenborn graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge, and worked at the Bodleian Library in Oxford before pursuing a successful career in publishing. He is now a full-time author and publishing consultant, whose other works include biographies of Mozart and Haydn. He is also co-editor of the highly respected Companion to British History. His poetry has been published both in Britain and in the United States and has been awarded two prestigious international prizes.
