Lucy Rose Fischer is an award-winning Minnesota artist, author, and researcher. She had a distinguished 25-year career in the field of aging. The author of three previous books as well as numerous professional articles, Lucy was honored as a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America for her ôoutstanding achievement and exemplary contributions to the field of aging.ö Art had always been her passion-on-the-side. Approaching 60, she launched her second career as artist. Her art has been featured in more than 50 exhibitions in the Midwest, Europe, and Israel.
