JOSEPHINE MACHON is a writer, practitioner and lecturer in theatre at Brunel University, London, UK. For Palgrave Macmillan she has published (Syn) aesthetics: Redefining Visceral Performance(2009) and co-edited Performance and Technology: Practices of Virtual Embodiment and Ineractivity(2006) and Sensualities/Textualities and Technologies: Writings of the Body in 21st Century Performance(2010) with Susan Broadhurst. Wwith Susan, Josephine is co-editor of the new Palgrave Macmillan Series in Performance and Technology.
