Bunny McBride is an anthropologist and award-winning author whose books include Molly Spotted Elk: A Penobscot in Paris and Women of the Dawn. She has curated exhibits on Native American art and is an adjunct lecturer in anthropology at Kansas State University. Her colleague and husband, Harald Prins, is a Distinguished Professor of Anthropology at Kansas State University. He has done extensive fieldwork among indigenous peoples in South and North America, including Maine's four tribes, and consluted for tribal nations, the Smithsonian, and other institutions. McBride and Prins live in Manhattan, Kansas.
