She marries a successful and wealthy US Senator who distinguishes himself fighting on the Union side in the American Civil War.These two remarkable families eventually connect in extraordinary circumstances when American millionaire recluse, Jack Colbert, great grandson of Mary O'Brien bequeaths 10 million dollars to his dead daughter's heir.In Part 2, The Present, we discover who gets the 10 million dollar inheritance which is a dilemma for the recipient.
