Arthur Grimes, BSocSc (Hons), PhD (LSE), MSc (Distinction) (LSE), is Senior Research Associate of Motu Research and an Adjunct Professor of Economics at The University of Waikato, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and Principal, GT Research and Consulting. Sir Frank Holmes is an Emeritus Professor of Victoria University of Wellington and a former director of the National Bank of New Zealand and of Lloyds Bank NZA, and the chair of the Norwich Union Group and of South Pacific Merchant Finance. He received his knighthood for services to economics and education in 1975. Gary Hawke, BA (Hons), BCom VUW, DPhil Oxf, FRSNZ, is a professor of Economic History and Head of the School of Government at Victoria University of Wellington.
