Professor Roger Baker has spent most of his professional life working in flow measurement and related areas of instrumentation and fluid engineering. Having held teaching posts at Cambridge University and Imperial College, he was Professor of Fluid Engineering at Cranfield for 12 years, setting up and running the Department of Fluid Engineering and Instrumentation. He has worked closely with industry in the UK and the USA. He has now returned to Cambridge and is working full-time there as a Visiting Industrial Fellow, while retaining his links with Cranfield through his Visiting Professorship there.
