Jahrbuch Juristische Zeitgeschichte 2008/2009

The 10th Yearbook is now being released for the first time by the de Gruyter publishing house and in a new format. As in previous years, the 10th Yearbook remains focused on the topic of Italy and essays contributed by Italian authors. In addition to two essays by the Italian legal philosopher Massimo La Torre, essays presented at the 2009 gathering of the Associazione Franco Bricola and contributions on the Italian criminal law instructors Giuseppe Bettiol und Luigi Ferrajoli are also included. Particular attention is to be directed to the forum's main topic this year - Stefan George and the Resistance of 20th July 1944 - which was presented by public law expert Wolfgang Graf Vitzthum of Tubingen from three different perspectives.
