David Stuart is a fast-moving, hard-drinking, womanising executive living in Jamaica in the 1970s, when many people think the island is going Communist, and are doing whatever they can to get a stash of yankee greenbacks out of the country to make a fresh start elsewhere. Suddenly he's offered a staggering amount of US dollars just to run a few "slightly risky" errands. He accepts the deal.
