The Journey

Michelle, the goal oriented good girl, who decides to run from everything she knows, learns that what she left behind is inevitably what she will have to run back to. After a fight with her mother that leaves her stranded on a dark city street in the middle of the night; Maurice, her night in shining armor comes to the rescue. He takes her away from her world of safety, and shows her a new way of life. Living with him and his family she turns her back on everything she once was. Her life begins to spin out of control leaving her grasping at anything and everything that seems familiar.During this journey to self discovery she learns the hard way that life is not just a fairy tale. In order to find herself she will have to learn to trust and love the one person she never really relied on... herself.
