The Journey

Abdul's death-defying journey eventually led him to the UK, where his love of animals provided a lifeline, and he landed a job as a stable boy. Abdul now lives in Berkshire and works as a stable boy. Ros Wynne-Jones is a writer and journalist who has won multiple awards for her reporting from African warzones. She is also the author of the novel Something Is Going To Fall Like Rain, set in South Sudan.
