Jump First, Look Later, Is a series of continuous short stories in which Phyllis Lesch bares a slice of her life from the ages of 17-21. Disappointments begin when her husband is unable to find a job after discharge and wants to move back to his hometown in Pittsburgh. With a new baby daughter and after many a bitter fight, Phyllis, who loves L.A. And wants desperately to live close to her family, reluctantly agrees to try it his way. The many hardships and disappointments she experiences in Pittsburgh as enhanced and related To The reader by her inner thoughts and feelings will keep the reader transfixed and eager to read the next story/chapter.
