Key Issues in Cross-cultural Psychology

These proceedings are organized into six parts, covering conceptual and methodological issues; consequences of acculturation; cognitive processes; values; social psychology; and personality, developmental psychology and health psychology. Themes characterizing current issues in cross-cultural psychology are also presented. One theme is theoretical and involves the current controversy regarding "cross-cultural" versus "cultural" or "indigenous" psychology. Second theme is the emphasis on the detailed description of historical and contexts variables of the culture.
