La verdad bajo la tierra Guatemala, el genocidio silenciado

An attempt to document the humanitarian crisis suffered by the indigenous tribes of Guatemala, the images in this collection bring to light a topic that is little-known around the world. In addition to the black-and-white photographs, the book includes a chronology of events as well as various essays written by different leaders and writers that place these events within a historical context. Documentando la tragedia humanitaria que han sufrido los pueblos indigenas de Guatemala desde 1954 a 1986, las imagenes en esta coleccion intentan poner al descubierto un tema poco reconocido a nivel mundial. Ademas de las fotografias en blanco y negro, se incluyen en este libro una cronologia de eventos, al igual que varios ensayos escritos por diferentes lideres y escritores que situan los eventos dentro de un contexto historico.
