Focus, Plan, Monitor, Evaluate! What does it take to support students in developing these key elements of reflective learning? This study examined a domain-independent computer-based training tutorial on reflective learning and a domain-dependent metacognition support feature within a hypermedia learning environment. What is the impact on achievement of such interventions? What is the impact on metacognitive awareness? What are the implications for instructional design? What should future research entail?
