LESSONS OF A MOTHER, AS TOLD BY THE DAUGHTER

A book written to help cope with difficult days and shared to help others do the same. This book is about the lessons in life the author learned through trials and grief. The author shares a few of the lessons she was provided by her mother. The book contains bible verses as well as encouragement. It is a small glimpse into a perspective shift.

Sara-rose is a 30-something dreamer. She grew up in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. After attending college at Michigan State University she soon began pursuing things she was passionate about. She began to fill her life with joy. Allowing herself time to chase dreams, pursue artistic adventures and embrace time with her family.
She found herself realizing she was an adult orphan having lost both of her parents before turning 33. Upon realizing she was now living a life without her parent's present she was determined to live a life where their lessons would continue to guide her. The lessons from her mother and from the Lord guide her daily. She feels they will not cease.

Sara-rose is an entrepreneur owning a successful photography business as well as working as an Independent Skincare Consultant with R+F. Always wanting to work in the education field and to have an impact on others Sara-rose began a new vocation and has found joy in being an adjunct professor teaching photography at a local college.
Some of her many hobbies include singing, rescuing pit bulls, painting, drawing, photography as well as being an avid volunteer. Sara-rose enjoys time spent volunteering at her daughter's school, with the Girl Scouts, for the Miss St. Clair Shores Scholarship Program as well as for the Lac Ste. Claire Fine Art Fair. Her mother taught her well in spreading joy and helping others. For this she will always be thankful.
What matters most to Sara-rose is creating memories and special moments as a wife and mother. She and her husband Bryan have been married for ten years and have stood beside one another through many hurdles at young adult ages. Now their biggest hurdle is parenting an energetic and silly 6 year old! Thank God that this learn as you go life includes parenting! She hopes to pursue more writing in the years to come, maybe more lessons from her time with her daughter and husband!
