Life Interrupted

While there are no methods or structured procedures for healing, there are guidelines and benchmarks to help those who are starting their journey. Whether our loss involves a person, a lifestyle, or even a cherished dream or memory, the process of healing is similar.  Because no two persons are alike, nor are they at the same stage in life at the same time, each person experiences healing in a different way and at a different rate.  The inspiration for the book, came from the author's personal experience with loss and healing due to the multiple deaths of family members in a short span of time. It is the author's desire that her pain, struggles, setbacks, false starts, regrouping and eventual triumphs will provide hope and encouragement for those who are taking their first tentative steps toward healing.   The book is formatted in a personal and easy-to-use style and contains an introduction and helpful guidelines as well as prompts and inspirational quotes. Each page is filled with beautiful images of natural settings. It also contains adequate space for the reader to write down thoughts and feelings.  The farewell page is followed by a section that encourages the reader to live in the present while discovering their passion and planning for the future. The last section contains a chapter with ideas on how to help others after your healing is complete.
