Lewis Laney started writing queer literature as a teenager in his adopted home town of Blackpool, Lancashire. At eighteen he had his first short story published in�The Next Wave: The Gay Times Book of Short Stories�(2002). He went on to write more short stories and also articles for various publications including the iconic music magazine�The Face. He is an active participant in the LGBTQ+ London community, working with local establishments to provide spaces for queer meet-ups. He now works in publishing and lives in south-east London with his partner and their ancient cairn terrier, Jimmy.
